The Phi Phi Islands are located 40 km south-east of Phuket. They’re a small archipelago composed of 6 islands: Phi Phi Don (the only inhabited one), Phi Phi Ley (with Maya Bay) where “The Beach” was filmed, Mosquito Island, Bamboo Island and two minor rocks (Bida Nok, Bida Nai).
During a one-day excursion, you’ll tour Phi Phi Ley (where Maya Bay and Loh Samah Bay are located), which possesses crystal-clear waters and small undisturbed beaches along the coast. You’ll see Viking Cave, where Sea Gypsies still “farm” swiftlet nests from which they prepare a soup considered a delicacy in China. You’ll visit a beach inhabited by wild monkeys, and be able to go snorkelling among the coral directly from the boat. You’ll sample Thai cuisine on Phi Phi Don Island.
After lunch, you’ll have the opportunity to hike from the beach at the south end of the island (Tonsai Bay) to the beach at the north end (Loh Dalum Bay), while passing over a sandy isthmus linking them and rising only 2-3 metres above sea-level. During the return trip to Phuket, there will be a 1 1/2 hour stopover on tiny Khai Nok Island. Its major assets are white sand and crystal-clear water filled with tropical fish, which can be fed by hand with bread or bananas.
NEW!!! Two days on the astounding Phi Phi Islands will please travel and active nightlife aficionados. You’ll get beaches parties, a fire show, Thai-style fights, etc… Shoppers won’t be bored on Phi Phi either – hundreds of small shops with a multitude of souvenirs await you. You’ll spend the night in an exotic bungalow within a remote quiet paradisiac location near the ocean. The calm sea and white sand beaches will provide you with unforgettable impressions. And of course, all who wish to will be able to visit a lookout 186 metres above sea level, the curiosities of uninhabited Phi Phi Ley Island, and snorkel in the waters of the Andaman Sea. Adventure begins here!!! Accompanied by an English-speaking guide during the entire tour.
