Excursion to James Bond Island (on Phang Nga Bay islands) on a speedboat includes visiting of few islands with 2 stops for canoeing.
First stop is Panak island, that you will reach in 15 minutes after departing from the pier. Then you will take to the canoes with Thai driver and start an unforgettable trip to the caves and lagoons in solid rocks of the island. At the ebb you will go through a 150-metre cave inside the island, which is the only way to the lake in the central island surrounded by cliffs all round.
Second stop is Hong island. “Hong” is the Thai word for “room”, as inside the island you will see caves in the form of rooms. While canoeing you will get closer to the spectacular cliffs of Phang-Nga bay and pass through the mangroves. Luckily, you will not have to paddle - a well trained Thai will do it for you.
Next stop is James Bond island. Known as Ko Tapu (“Nail” in thai) beside the Ko Khao Ping Kan island it was renamed after the blockbuster James Bond movie "The Man With The Golden Gun" (1974) was filmed there. You will have 30 minutes to fully enjoy and take pictures in the world famous tourist attraction.
Next stop is Panyee island, where a Muslim village is located. A dinner is planned on the island and a walk through the extraordinary village, located on the water gaps.
On the way back last stop is Naka island with a big beach, where you can enjoy yourselves and rest after an exciting excursion. The distance from Naka back to Phuket is as short as 10 minutes.
